Your site has a critical error. What does it mean?
A critical error is usually caused by a conflict caused by a theme or plugin. A critical error can crash the entire site, or it can only occur on a specific subpage or section of the page.
Every WordPress theme and plugin is coded by different authors, and sometimes it happens that some of the parts are no longer updated by the author to meet the latest requirements. It seems to lag behind the others. Sometimes it is a paid add-on whose license fee has not been renewed and therefore no updates have been received. When the other parts are updated and this one is not included, at some point this will cause an unresolved conflict situation, which will make a critical error for the site.
The error is corrected by locating the cause of the error and disabling it. Then we find out why no updates have been made and whether new updates are available. If it is a rejected part, a corresponding actively updated part is searched for.
Your site has an outdated version of PHP. What does it mean?
PHP is a programming language used in connection with WordPress. It is constantly evolving and therefore a new version is released once a year. Older versions are usually supported 3 versions, i.e. a year back.
Over time, support for old PHP versions ends and then the old PHP version causes various problems on the site. For example, the latest add-ons or updates cannot be installed if the PHP version is too old.
Some web hosts disable old PHP versions and automatically switch to a newer, supported version. Then plugins and themes that have not been updated to match the latest versions cause the site to malfunction.
Can the old site be modified?
Yes and no. I can give a more precise answer to this after I have first familiarized myself with your old site.
Sometimes the theme, add-ons or custom code used on the site cause such a headache that editing is almost impossible. Old sites also often have a lot of extra junk that clogs up the database. In that case, we have to think about whether it makes the most sense to rebuild the entire site from scratch. Yes, we can transfer the old contents.

Change of web hosting. Is it worth it and how does it happen in practice?
Changing your web host is necessary when the site is slow, your service provider has a lot of outages, you cannot contact customer service or the answers you receive are not helpful.
In simplified terms, your site is copied to the service of the new service provider, the traffic of the domain is redirected and it is checked that the site works correctly in the new service. In connection with the transfer, you can change the domain broker and also transfer email boxes with their contents.
There are a wide range of web hosting packages available. According to my own experience, I recommend to forget the options that offer the most affordable packages. How much does it cost?
Editing of old sites is always done by the hour 79 €/hour.
Minimum billing is 1 hour, after which the working time is rounded up to the next half hour. I will try to give you the most accurate estimate of working time before starting. We can also agree on a maximum that cannot be exceeded without a separate agreement.
Usually, critical bug fixes and PHP version updates are done in 1-2 hours.
